The key is working perfectly after programmed but when I press the door open knob, it opens the back trunk door which is very annoying. I will try to recheck the programming may be there is an error message.

I ordered and received two of these remotes. They look like the standard Mercedes remotes, but true Mercedes remotes are only available and serviced by Mercedes. Mercedes does not service these and they cannot be worked on in this country by any locksmith but Mercedes. I have called and emailed the office address given and received an email saying they would be in touch in 24 hours. They have not contacted me. Following the instruction on their enclosed business cards yields no contact. This is a con job. They sell you the remotes but do not program them. Amazon should not sell these things.

Supposed to be a pair which is 2. But this is the second time I ordered after refunding the first one and the second time I got the same thing. Only one in the box again.

Bought this for a spare key. The price was good. The only problem was I took it to a professional to get it programed and the key works for everything except the push button start, you have to remove the button and use the fob as a regular key…its not that big of a deal as it is only a spare.

I don’t know why nobody has mentioned this in reviews but unless you have some super sneaky way that you can code this for your car and get the key cut do not buy this. To get a Mercedes-Benz fob and key you have to go to the dealer not only do you have to go to the dealer you have to go to the dealer with your social security number your birth certificate your DNA results and your voter registration card. I don’t know they needed everything like my firstborn and my leg.

My Mercedes GLA key was broken, I used this for spare parts. Maybe you can program and cut the key as well, but I didn’t use it for that.

Certainly is a quality build and better than my old key fob. Unfortunately it was the wrong model and I never sent it back. Just one more item in my junk box! Have friends with Mercedes-Benz and this key is identical to there OEM; will probably give it to one of them
