Happy customer –
Easy to install. Had everything to get it installed. Had to cut the plug off end and put eyelets on to make it work for my Polaris Ranger.

This horn kit would be perfect if the horn worked out of the box. All of the wiring harness, switch, fuse and plugs were great. The harness even had the upgraded flat blade terminal connectors that have locking pushbuttons on them. The issue is that the horn I received with the kit…Didn’t make a peep when it was all hooked up. I had to unscrew the cover of the horn to find that the adjustment screw for the horn was not adjusted at all and they put rubber glue over the screw head preventing adjustment. I replaced the cover and removed the rubber glue over the adjustment screw head and was able to adjust the horn until it made sound. Basically out of the box, the kit wasn’t useable for the average user. I have experience in electromechanical so i was able to figure it out. Hopefully this is just a one-time issue and doesn’t happen to others. Just be on the lookout that the quality of the horn itself isn’t super great. The horn is also not very loud. If you are hoping to get a horn that is as loud as a car horn, this isn’t the product for you.

I am pleased with this horn for my Polaris Ranger. The horn is quite loud. Plenty loud!installation is actually fairly easy even if you have to eliminate the end connector that can be used on newer UTVs.I did run into a few minor issues mostly caused by my own mistakes. The first mistake was when I was installing the switch. I did not notice the inline connector, which would have made installation effortless, until after I had followed the included instructions on the switch wires. These wires have connectors with a good securing pip on them and you must make sure you press the little edge on the backend inside of the female blade connector to release it easily. I was not pressing hard enough and when I pulled, the male blade connector easily pulled out of the back of the switch. If I need to I can repair it but for now it is holding just being pushed back in.Installation of the switch beyond my mistake was easy, then wiring was simple, and physical installation of the horn should have been easy. I did not have a good vertical place to mount the horn on my ranger, that was out of the way of other things, using the included mounting strip, so I thought I would simply bend the metal mounting strip and mount it on a horzontal bar, That was my second mistake. I took a small pair of needlenose pliers and held the metal in my hand and simply pushed with my thumb. The metal piece bent real easy, but it was so brittle that it was snapping in half.I will have to replace that with a better mount, but the horn is very loud, and the wiring is quite good and in a good protective jacket.

In order to be street legal we needed turn signals and a horn on our Polaris RZR. We already had turn signals so we ordered this horn kit to meet requirements. The install was a bit more work than I expected but we slowly followed the instructions and about an hour later we had a horn. It is pretty loud, as it needs to be to be heard over the sound of the engine, and other riders can easily tell when I am honking. For the price this is a great value.

This horn kit installs easily. The wiring has been prepared for you so it is a true plug and play item. The wires going to the switch are very short and almost did not reach the left side if my Ranger steering wheel. I had to remove the gauge set to make it work. Horn is NOT as loud as I would like.I am really happy with this horn kit despite decible level of sohnd it produces. I would recommend this kit.
