finally stopped that annoying sound when i turn off my truck. no more powdering my belt. lol the green belt is the way to go. this kit fits perfect. easy to install, its best to do this kit for the long run, after taking off the pulleys i could tell they were in need of replacement. 220 k on trucks original parts..

The tensioner went on fine and took away the horrendous squeal. The problem is the belt is inches too short if you have the Jacob Brake (or Jake Brake) installed. So warning to all looking at this kit with the 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesal the belt will only fit if you don’t have the Jake Brake.

This is a complete kit to replace both idler pulley, tensioner and pulley, and serpentine belt.All high quality gates parts.This is the best price I could find Anywhere.This fits the 2004 ram 5.9 cummins 2500 crew cab.but should fit the 3rg gen of 5.9 engines. Look in the manual and parts chart for correct part.Would recommend having part installed, unless your a good mechanic. Excellent quality, fast shipping

Very disappointed with water pump was supposed to be premium quality but started leaking a few after installation. But only one month warranty!

This is not a15 minute repair. I’ve got a lot of mechanical experience and a shop at my disposal. I’ve also got very large hands ! It was all I could do to get old belt off and new one routed. Just be patient and you will get it done. Hour and half for me.

This kit has all the parts you need including the Idler. It is actually much easier to replace both the belt and the tensioner at the same time on the 6.7L Cumings. But, it’s a big job regardless and just finishing the job by also replacing the Idler means you won’t need to revisit the belt for another 100K miles. Amazon says this kit won’t fit the Dodge Ram 6.7L Cumings. But, it is the correct part per gates. You can go to their web site for a listing for any vehicle.

Gates makes a great product with this kit.With the belt, tensioner and idler pulley, you can change everything in one box.This worked out great for my 2006 5.9 Cummins/Ram 2500.
