This brake repair kit from Amazon is very reasonably priced. The same parts when bought through Warn parts dept. item by item were more than twice as much. Warn does not offer the kit so its piece by piece from them. The customer service was excellent as was the timely shipping. I will for sure be doing more business with Amazon in the future.

Nice product as usual from WARN. If you have the old style 8274 with the brake pucks this is a nice upgrade and much smoother/quieter.

You may have noticed…Warn doesn’t give Amazon much of a break. The good news is, you don’t have to buy many Warn parts to qualify for free shipping.

OEM rebuild parts for an older 8274. Perfect fit and work great. This kit is complete for rebuilding the brake minus the internal “O” ring for the shaft.

Can’t beat authentic Warn parts! Instructions that came with the kit are a bit vague but theres lots of info available on the internet for rebuilding these winches so no big deal.

Brake and free-wheel work again, nice to have. My old 8274 from a 1978 jeep golden eagle is back off the road. This time on a 99 4Runner. That winch has seen a lot of trucks over the years and has always been fantastic. So fast… I hate slow winches…
