Usage Guidelines
- Cold Weather Precautions:In cold environments, it is recommended to preheat the weather strip to ensure flexibility and enhance the adhesive’s effectiveness. This will allow for better adhesion after the backing adhesive becomes active.
- Surface Preparation:Prior to applying the adhesive tape, wipe the installation surface with a dry towel to remove stains, dust, and oil residues. A clean surface ensures optimal adhesion.
- Avoid Excessive Manipulation:If the initial adhesion feels weak after application, refrain from repeatedly tearing and reapplying the strip. Instead, press firmly, and let the adhesive undergo a 24-hour chemical reaction. Adhesive strength will improve over time.
- Ensure Firm Adhesion:After application, press firmly to ensure that the weather strip’s backing adhesive adheres tightly to the installation surface. This step is crucial for an effective seal.
- Handle with Care Post-Application:Avoid forcefully pulling or stretching the weather strip after application. Refrain from washing the car within the first three days, and avoid frequent opening and closing of the car door within the initial 24 hours.
- Temporary Tightness Post-Installation:Expect some tightness in the door closure immediately after installation. Do not worry, as this will gradually improve within 2-3 days. Allow time for the weather strip to settle and conform to the door frame.

Hi everybody! Iโm so happy the package has finally arrived. I was liking so much the price for the amount of feetโs. This fits all my car and I donโt need more. I cannot say if it is durable or not but anyway for the price it will be a good thing if it works more than a week. Seeking the material I can tell right now that it will works decently. It brings little car cleaning pads to use before the installation but I was cleaning well my car before and put rubbing alcohol letting well dry and it looks the glue is working. What I can confirm is the reduce noise, and thatโs what I care about this order. Sorry for the bad review to seller, I thought this package will never arrive and now I donโt know how to change the review.

Because it had a backing that would adhere to itself, I was able to put it on the doors of my automobile without any difficulty. I was able to determine straight away that the strip was going to do its function in an efficient manner since it attached firmly there. Even after several openings and closings of the vehicle doors, this weather stripping product did not come off and remained in place, in contrast to other weather stripping products that I have used in the beginning. As someone who drives a pickup truck, I can attest to the fact that these vehicles can be rather loud, particularly when traveling at higher speeds. The change, on the other hand, was remarkable after this rubber seal strip was installed. This resulted in a greatly decreased amount of road noise, which made the driving experience much calmer and more pleasurable. Despite the fact that I had to turn up the volume in order to drown out the noise from the outside, I was able to hear the music that was playing on my stereo. Considering that I live in a region that has a lot of precipitation, I was afraid that water may get into my vehicle during storms. Since the installation of this device, I have not had any problems with water leaks in any way. The inside of my vehicle is kept dry and pleasant regardless of the weather conditions outside since it efficiently seals off moisture and prevents moisture from entering.

Pay attention to dimensions. This product was exactly what I needed and the exact length I needed with little extra.Make sure you clean and prep your surface well no dust no oils , as with ANY two sided tape especially 3M VHB tape and it will adhere properly and indefinitely.This seal had a small amount of stretch so it was good around corners, compression was perfect with the correct gap between mating surfaces. Was quite durable during installation on my test piece, during my R and D process was reasonably difficult to remove, after curing for 1 week it required a heat gun a blade and some solvent to completely remove it. Pulling and tearing it off did not work as it would come off in very small chunks.Installed on my camper bunk door which is always exposed to water in the rain and snowTested in the rain and it stood up very well.Not a drop made it though.I look forward to seeing itโs long term durability.

Great product if you donโt need it to stick on. Had to buy my own double back tape to keep on door fraim even after cleaning with wipes that came with the product did not hold on well at all. Donโt think Iโd buy this product again

Defiantly help with sound reduction from the outside but they honestly do not have any stickiness to then so get your own double sided tape but yeah
