Everything works great and all lights work. The only downside to me is the control buttons and speed are a blue light which isn’t that bright. Not like the original. The bottom buttons are just like factory. Overall I like it. Much better than no lights at all. It says on box not to remove the tape for one of the plugs or you can’t return it,🤷. If you don’t use it all the lights don’t work. Installed in a 01 Silverado 1500 LS.

Was installing a sub-woofer and touched my OEM and it started breaking on me, it broke the clips then the back connection on the right broke off, AC would not come on and in Texas June temps that is a big no no. I placed an order being that it is for a 2000 Silverado and parts are kinda scarce. I found it locally and went and got that one, paid $300 with a $98 core return, when you feel the Texas summer dragon fire breath you’ll buy what is the quickest to get your hands on one to install. I did not open the package and sent back for a refund, very easily done and quickly refunded back to me.Easy install, no tools needed.There are two connections on the back, there is white tape covering up the AC connection in the pictures, removing the tape will void the warranty, but of course it would, but it is 2022 and melting bugs in this Texas heat I didn’t care. Limited lifetime warranties claims are a pain to deal with anyways.Light blueish back lights, it can be replaced with white if you have those skills it is 4 led bulbs. In Texas your AC settings don’t really change but a few times in winter months so I could care less if it lights up or not, I know the drill and the where the dials need to be.
