The Original AutoLock is made with hardened steel and a pick-proof deadbolt lock. The self-locking mechanism and red protective coating make it extremely secure and highly visible. AutoLock uses the brake or clutch pedal arm because their solid steel construction makes them one of the strongest parts of your vehicle and virtually impossible to cut. Plus, on many cars and trucks, the brake or clutch pedal must be depressed before the vehicle can be put into gear. When properly installed, AutoLock prevents the brake or clutch pedal from being depressed, making your car and truck undrivable.

One size AutoLock easily locks under the brake pedal on most cars, minivans, SUV’s, & trucks. You simply slide the AutoLock over top of the brake or clutch pedal arm and down to the floor, place your foot on the peg and slowly pull up the retractable handle and it locks automatically.
Measure your vehicle to ensure requirements are present. AutoLock will not properly fit those without both.
Two size requirements are essential for your vehicle to accommodate the Autolock. It easily fits vehicles with a brake arm width of 3/4″ or less, and a minimum distance of 4” or more between the vehicle’s floorboard and the bottom of brake arm. If the brake arm is thicker than 3/4″, then Autolock will not easily slide over the arm. If you do not have at least 4″ of space from the bottom of the brake arm to the floorboard, then Autolock will not be able to properly close.

A had a friend show me that a capable car thief could break it. Since then I’ve stopped using it.

Definitely helps deter thieves. Not all because we know if someone wants your car they will find a way. But it sure would slow them down

It was the year 2001 I had just gotten an older 1993 Honda accord ( these were very saw after cars) it was dropped, sweet rims, stereo I mean it was super sweet but I also knew it was gona be a target to get it stolen ( this was inLos Angeles) this locking thing was in a tv commercial and dude would use a shotgun to prove that it was bullet proof! So I got me one and within a week it was put to the test….I had it parked on the street and the next morning when I went to get it started to go to work I found the doors unlocked and my stereo and other things were gone!They went for the whole car but they were not able to take the lock off ! So they gave up and only stole the stuff! Lol The clutch pedal was even bent little bit because they tried to removed it but the lock was still on! So now it’s 2024 And I still have it !!! And I just got my son a new for his ride!

Hard to find best to keep car safe and away from the bad guys! I would rate 4 stars because the first 5 times I purchased these locally at my auto sippy store, they came with a money back type insurance warranty where I would receive money if my car was ever stolen. Everytime I sold my car I would give it to the buyer and they loved it! I also loved the fact that you could buy the more expensive one that would give you more money if it ever got stolen lol. However I’ll keep the 5 star rating because whichever one I had one my car kept it from being stolen on 2 different occasions, 2 different cars. Both were Hondas!!! once thieves see this they do not want to waste their time! I’ll also add that both times my cars were broken into, the bad guys successfully gained entry but thanks to this deterrent, once they were in, they didn’t try to attempt to steal it like, try and break the steering column or any dumb things that would have cost me more. Only thing that was damaged was a the broken trunk lock, located on the floor near the driver side door. That was somehow removed in one case and they popped the trunk, luckily nothing was in the trunk for them to steal and luckily they did not steal the car as it was sitting in an area by the airport known for breakins because of cheap people like me that do not want to pay for expensive parking haha ! Lesson learned ! Now I do not mind for paying for parking and if I do I’ll make sure it’s in a better neighborhood and I’ll make sure I have this on my brake locked up and secured 😇
