When installing on XC-W models, the pin assignment of the plug must be changed according to the user’s manual. On EXC and Freeride models, the LED headlight can be turned on and off with the high beam switch.

This light is epic! I mean even if it wasn’t that strong it would still deserve 5 stars, just for nailing the look!It looks awesome! I’ve used the JFG one here on Amazon that has the little “V” light bar on the bottom and this light just blows it out of the water. I saw this thing on ebay first like 2 weeks ago and was intrigued with it ever since. Once I saw it on Amazon I knew I had to try it (because easy refunds, right?).There is no other light on the market that I would choose over this one, for less than $100. It’s absolutely worth the price!Yes, Acerbis VSL light is probably great but it doesn’t have DRL or high/low beam and isn’t DOT approved, and even if it was, it’s still over $100.The DRL (day time running light) on this looks baddass. The entire assembly just looks great all around.If you have money to blow then go buy the Baja Designs light for $400+. If you don’t, or just don’t really need to and want something that can do the job when needed, then order this light!But if you already have the stock headlight, it may be worth just upgrading the Holegen bulb to an LED model as that will help a TON! but I didn’t have a headlight before this.

I bought this and a cheap h4 wiring harness. It was super easy to wire this light to plug right in to a drz. That being said, it does need some mods to make it fit well. I ended up making a lower bracket that bolted to the triple and located the pins, and then trimming some plastic on the back to route the brake line. It fits great now, but it took a little bit of work. That being said, it’s a great light, mostly. The pattern is pretty good and it’s bright. It’s definitely better than my old light and noticeably brighter that my buddies husky 701.

Installed on a Honda XR and needed some customisation to fit (no surprise, not advertised to fit my bike). Light is bright and has a very nice dispersion in both low and high beam. It doesn’t use much power, I tested it on the bench before connecting to the bike and with power to the high beam lead all three (high/low/drl) are on. Like this it consumes about 2.8 amps, 2.5 in low and about .5 in drl. It is stylish and appears well made. Have ridden the bike once since install with no issues. Remains to be seen how durable it is.

I ordered this light for my 2020 KTM 250 XC-W in order to increase visibility while trail riding. The package comes with the lamp itself, a headlight mask, a jumper harness allowing you to repin the connector to suit your bike, an assortment of rubber mounting straps, and some rudimentary instructions.Quality of the lamp itself seems very good. Fit and finish is solid and the lenses, housing and plastic cover all seem to be of high quality. The headlight mask did not fit properly over my brake and speedometer cables, so I opted to use the stock headlight mask. The lamp assembly mounted easily into the stock KTM mask using a mix of provided fasteners and stock fasteners from the bike.The wiring as delivered is incorrect for my bike. You can use the included harness to adapt the wiring to your motorcycle but I opted to repin the factory connector to avoid using the extra harness. This is easy to do with a small flathead screwdriver or mechanic’s pick.The brightness is significantly better than the stock housing. The color temperature is bright white, similar to modern automotive lighting. I expect that it will be far more visible through the woods, which is important for safety and was my main reason for ordering.In all I think this product is a good buy, whether you’re trying to replace a broken stock housing or just improve light output and visibility.

6-month update: The lights work perfect, nice and bright. The issue I have is the rubber straps, these are junk. Straps broke 6months after it’s been installed on the bike. BUT the bike hasn’t been on the road that much so I can’t say it’s due to vibrations. Installed for 6 months but on the road (asphalt) for maybe 30km. I have another bike and the straps on that are of different quality and material.

The light itself is really nice however it does not fit a 2005 KTM 525EXC. The plastic tabs and pegs on the housing are completely wrong

This headlight is awesome. I reviewed it on my YouTube channel, SpacemanOnWheels, and many of my subscribers have requested it. It looks great on my ebike, was easy to install, and, most importantly, it’s incredibly bright at night. The road was so well-lit, it felt like I had the sun shining down.
