This two-pack of thick foam pads are cushy, but thick. They won’t scratch the paint on a car door edge, but will protect a garage wall from paint scrapes in sheetrock due to widely-opened doors. Each pad has a protective sheet covering the adhesive, so it is simple as measuring where the door edge would hit the wall, peeling the backing off and pressing the pad onto the wall. It holds well and I practiced several times with varying degrees of force to see if the pad fell off, and it never did. I haven’t removed either, which I applied both to cover front and rear doors on one wall, so I don’t know if paint may be in the future anyways. I’m glad I added it though. The only drawback is the color- black. It stands out on a pale colored wall, but has seemingly done the job. Knowing where to install is the key, but we have a stop as to how far our vehicle can pull in and we’re consistent. I think these are a good value and I’m pleased I tried them. Give them a shot if you hate wall dings and paint scrapes on your vehicle doors.

Easy to place on garage wall and saves my car door from any dings. Thick and well made. No longer worry when opening my door. Purchased pack of 4, thinking they may come in handy for other uses as well. Satisfied with my purchase!

These work great! I opened the door and ensured the entire thing would be caught by the pad, works exactly as intended. I recommend getting an additional pack for the rear doors too.

These garage wall guards are well padded and should do a good job of protecting the wall and my car door. I wish these were a little bigger. If you are precise about where your car door will come in contact with your garage walls, then this 2-pack should be plenty. However, if the vehicles that park in your garage vary, or the spot where your car door might come in contact with the wall varies, I would recommend purchasing the 4-pack. For the price, I think these are a good value.

I wish we had bought these years ago! We have holes in our garage walls from car doors, I finally discovered these and they were a game changes.

These were exactly what I needed to make pulling into a narrow garage safer against hitting side view mirrors and to have on garage wall for when doors open against the wall. These are super adhesive and have stayed on during cold weather temps and getting pushed on and rubbed against many many times. They are very versatile meaning you can use them on various textures of walls, work benches, etc and they can be cut down to size for specific use. I highly recommend them!
